Dr. Doğanalp Ergenç

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Telecommunication Networks (TKN). I obtained my BSc (2016) and MSc (2018) at Middle East Technical University in Wireless Systems, Networks, and Security Lab. After working as a system and software engineer in different companies, I completed my PhD at Universität Hamburg (2023) in Computer Networks group led by Prof. Mathias Fischer. In recent years, I have been involved in various research projects on wireless networking, programmable networks, and network security and resilience. I am currently coordinating the DFG Research Progamme, Resilient Worlds. You can also find my detailed resume here.

My research interests include (but not limited to):

  • Reliable wireless networks
  • Time-sensitive and deterministic networking
  • Network robustness and security
  • Topology design and optimization
