| Sensor Networks, PR, 2 SWS, (0432 L 344) The class concerns the principles of the architecture protocols, interfaces, developer tool chain and applications in sensor networks by the study of programming examples and exercises ("towards Internet of things"). In the one-day boot camp the tool chain will be installed and an example application will be realized on the handed out sensor nodes. The exercises of the follow-up labs concern the programming of the sensor nodes using the employed TinyOS operating system in order to get an understanding of the fundamental aspects of the underlying sensor node protocols for data collection and dissemination. | |||||||

The main objective in this seminar is to develop the skill of critical evaluation of the literature availabele in the selected research areas. At the end of the course, students are expected to give a technical talk resuming the research in the selected area, as well as to write a short technical report | |||||||
