The TKN Wireless Indoor Sensor network Testbed (TWIST) is a scalable and flexible testbed architecture for indoor scenarios.
It features 204 nodes of two platforms and spans 3 floors at the FT building.
Nodes can be programmed and configured network-wide using a web-interface.
The goal of this project is to design and implement an interactive round-based conquer game using TWIST.
Two players try to conquer as much nodes as possible by letting one of their nodes broadcast a “conquer” packet.
The game must use a base station node within the TWIST deployment to control nodes and collect game information.
  • Specification of game rules
  • Implementation of node application
  • Design/Implementation of a reliable communication protocol for game control (game client, base station, network)
  • Design/Implementation of (graphical) user interface (Java-based GUI for TWIST visualization, node control exists)
  • TKN lectures
  • Basic programming skills in C and/or Java
The results of this project where shown at
