  • Prerequisite: The contents of the BSc module "Kommunikationsnetze" or similar knowledge is required. Knowledge of architecture and programming of embedded systems will help.
  • Module Examination and Grading Procedures: The exam consist of several achievements (Prüfungsäquivalente Studienleistungen - PAES): In order to pass the Practical Course it is needed to regularly solve the exercises successfully. There will be two (usually) oral exams: One covering the lecture, the other covering the practical course. Both contribute 50% to the final mark.
  • Duration: one semester

Preferable: contents of the BSc Computer Science modules  "Kommunikationstechnologien" and "Kommunikationstechnologien-Vertiefung" as well as programming in C/C++. Recommendable: knowledge of English language.
  • Module Examination and Grading Procedures: The exam consists of several achievements (Prüfungsäquivalenter Studienleistungen- PAES). The final mark will be calculated by the weighted averaging (ECTS) of the individual marks: oral test- 50% quality of the solution, 30% presentation, 20% organisation.

  • Prerequisite:  The contents of the BSc module "Kommunikationsnetze", programming knowledge and handling with software development. Preferable: knowledge in statistics and programming in C/C++. Recommendable: knowledge of English language. 
  • Module Examination and Grading Procedures: The exam consists of several achievements (Prüfungsäquivalenter Studienleistungen- PAES). In order to pass the Practical Course it is needed to regularly solve the exercises successfully. The final mark will be calculated by the weighted averaging (ECTS) of the individual marks: 40% documentation, 30% individual consultation, 30% individual introduction to the Practical Course.
  • Duration: one semester.

  • Prerequisite: Grundlegende Kenntnisse der Informationstechnik, wie sie insb. im BSc-Studiengang „Informatik“, in der Studienrichtung „Elektronik und Informationstechnik“ des BSc-Studiengangs „Elektrotechnik“ oder den entsprechenden Modulen des BSc-Studiengangs „Technische Informatik“ vermittelt werden. Programmierkenntnisse (möglichst in C++) werden vorausgesetzt. Wünschenswert: Grundlagen der Statistik, Modul Kommunikationsnetze zum Verständnis der Beispiele. Eine vertiefte Beherrschung der englischen Sprache ist empfehlenswert.
  • Module Examination and Grading Procedures: Zum Bestehen der Übung ist die regelmäßige, erfolgreiche Bearbeitung von Übungs- und Programmieraufgaben erforderlich. Das Modul wird durch eine mündliche Prüfung für Vorlesung und Übung geprüft, wodurch sich die Modulnote ergibt.
  • Duration: Das Modul kann in 1 Semester abgeschlossen werden.
